Here’s what came in my bag:
Luxie Beauty Luxie Rose Gold Small Duo Fiber Brush 524T
Brush with greatness. This ipsy Creator fave features two layers of fibers for versatile blending and building. And that gorgeous rose gold handle? We’re tickled pink.
I love Luxie Beauty brushes and I’m always excited to see them in subscription boxes but not this one. I don’t have a way of storing small brushes like that so this will be regifted to to someone else.
We ain’t afraid of no ghosts. This weightless wonder pulls a quick disappearing act in our strands—leaving the ends smooth, sleek, shiny, and free of frizz.
I love this oil. It’s one of my favorite oils to use on the ends of my hair and it doesn’t weigh my hair down.
Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara
Big. Bigger. Biggest. The hourglass-shaped wand grabs onto every single lash while the collagen-infused formula gives us a dramatic va-va-va volume effect.
I’m not a huge fan of this mascara but I’m always willing to use it if I get it in a subscription box.
Here are swatches of the makeup I got in this months bag:
Absolute New York Matte Stick – Dark Red
Miss Scarlett. In the study. With the lipstick. But the real mystery is how this stunning red shade gives a perfect matte finish that goes on creamy and won’t make lips look or feel dry.
This was a beautiful red shade and the formula wasn’t too bad. However, I will be regifting this because I don’t wear red that often and the reds I do have, I love.
Starlooks Cream Eye Shadow – Rose Gold
Petal to the metal. This metallic rose gold shade glides on smoothly and gives our eyes just the right amount of sparkle in time for the holidays
I really wanted to love this liquid eyeshadow! The color and the shine is stunning but the formula is complete crap. I try not to be super harsh in my reviews but this formula absolutely sucked. It flaked of the eyes and it didn’t blend. Even when I tried to layer it, it didn’t build up and was super patchy. I really want to figure out how to make this work because it is super pretty.
[UPDATE] I found a way to use this! I lightly dab it in the inner corner and then top it with a highlighter for a poppin’ inner corner highlight. My favorite highlighter to use is BECCA Cosmetics Champagne Pop in Collaboration with Jaclyn Hill.
