This month’s Play by Sephora theme is The Partygoers!

Meet Your Night Out Necessities. Small sirens, company festivities, all-out holiday bashes: no matter how you’re celebrating, this is the selection for party season. We-re wrapping up 2016 with an inky-black mascara, a show-stopping red lip shade, and more must-haves for getting ready for fun-and looking fresh all night long.

Here’s what came in my box:

Let The Good Times Kohl

Bobbi Brown Smokey Eye Mascara

Jet-black, hold-pigmented mascara delivers high-impact volume with a smudge-free formula

I really like this mascara! It gives my lashes volume without clumping them together.

The Prime Is Right

Make Up For Ever Step 1 Skin Equalizer Smoothing Primer

This silky primer helps makeup last longer while the targeted formula balances skin’s texture, resulting in a smoother, more even look.

I’ve used this primer before and it’s an all time fave! Helps smooth my pores and stops foundation from settling into my pores as well.

Go The Extra Style

Drybar Detox Dry Shampoo

Lightweight dry shampoo extends the life of blowouts by absorbing oils, adding body, and leaving hair feeling fresh and clean.

Nope, nope , nope! The white cast on this dry shampoo is rediculous! Not everyone is blonde.

All In A Spray’s Work

Urban Decay All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray

Weightless setting spray prevents makeup from fading, smoking, and settling into fine lines for a touch-up-free finish

Oldie but a goodie. This will be great for travel plus the bottle is refillable!

Red Between The Lines

Sephora Collection Cream Lip Stain in Always Red

Decadent yet lightweight stain moisturizers while saturating lips with a bod, nonstop shade of crimson red.

I was pleasantly surprised by this liquid lipstick. It’s so feather weight but budge proof. My only gripe is the color…why are they always red!?

Next-Level Nirvana

Perfume Pick: Elizabeth and James Nirvana Bourbon

An intoxicating blend of vanilla bourbon and spice wood with a delicate floral note.

Notes:
Vanilla Bourbon. Oakwood. Tuberose.
Style:
Passionate. Unpredictable. Provocative.

For the most part, this box was a hit but I wasn’t wowed by it. The UD setting spray and MUFE primers are nothing new and are staples in any makeup collection so they could at least have stepped it up with the lippie shade. Red, really? So overdone.
