This month’s Play by Sephora theme is Best in Glow

Bypass winter dullness and wake your skin up with this month’s lustrous lineup of gleam-getting, radiance-ready beauty. We’re hitting the highlights with an ultra=shiny lip gel, refreshing face mask, and other illuminating essentials.

Here’s what came in my box:

Cover FX Illuminating Primer

Glow-inducing, silicone-free primer preps skin with a light-reflecting mineral complex and helps eliminate dullness.

Where has this been my entire life! I love how hydrating this primer is plus the glow it gives is the right amount of luminosity-really glow but not overdone. This is definitely going on my wishlist!

The Estee Edit Dissolve the Drama

Innovative 2-in-1 makeup remover and oil cleanser transforms from a luxurious, silky oil to a nurturing milky foam that leaves skin fresh and luminous.

This worked at removing my makeup but it was hard to use. It dripped down my arms and  was hard to pour. Not my favorite formula for a cleanser.

Laura Mercier Caviar Stick Eye Colour in Rose Gold

Multipurpose, high-pigment eyeshadow stick glides on and blends easily for transfer-proof, all-day wear.

This was nice to try and to see what the hype was about. It’s not pigmented enough for me. I prefer super metallic and this was more subtle. If you prefer a subtle look or if you have mature skin you would love this.

Sephora Collection Ultra Shine Lip Gel in Pin Up Pink

Hydrating, glossy lip gel visibly plumps lips with a lustrous sheen and always-flattering hot pink hue.

I normally don’t like bright pinks lips but this gave a nice wash of color. I really enjoyed this gloss.

GLAMGLOW SUPERMUD Clearing Treatment

Skin-clearing mud mask with activated charcoal draws out dirt and impurities while also helping to brighten and soften.

In of my favorite, yet way to expensive, clearing mud masks. I love using this on my nose to help clear out those pores.

Fragrance Pick: Stella McCartney POP

Stella McCartney is a British fashion designer who is known for her sharp tailoring and feminine designs. POP is the newest addition to her fragrance collection after cult-favorite Stella.

Notes: Tomato Leaves, Violet Leaves, And Green Mandarin, Violet, Tuberose, Plumeria, Sandalwood, Cedarwood, Musks.
Style: Bright. Contemporary. Positive.

I normally don’t review fragrances but this was such an interesting perfume. It’s fun and different. I normally don’t buy a lot of perfume but the samples I’ve been getting lately are starting to wander onto my wishlist.

Overall, I liked this month’s box. My only gripe is the fact that there wasn’t a highlighter in this box. You can’t call this a “Best in Glow” box without a highlighter…duh!
